Hi,
I tried searching the forums for this problem, but couldn't find any information.
Sometimes I check Deluge to look at how the downloads are going, and the GUI is all blank (as though there were no torrents at all) and the statusbar at the bottom of the GUI (the one that usually lists the number of connections, UL/DL speeds and DHT nodes) only says "Not connected". I can't seem to be able to do anything but close Deluge and start it again.
Any suggestions?
I'm running Deluge 1.1.3 under Kubuntu Hardy.
Thanks

Re: "Not Connected"
Does this happen to me only??

Re: "Not Connected"
C'mon, I can't believe this happens to me only!!

Re: "Not Connected"
Are you using Deluge in classic mode? For 1.x deluge moved to a client/server model and I believe that Classic Mode is still a little temperamental.
Re: "Not Connected"
I have no idea what classic mode is, but I just checked the preferences and I notice that Classic Mode is checked.
What is it about?
What is it about?
Re: "Not Connected"
It hides that the program is now a client and server, you can leave the server running and it'll still be downloading your torrents, then fire up the client, connect to the server to check on them. You may want to try it not in classic mode, i think it may be a little flakey, not 100% sure on that one.
Re: "Not Connected"
Cool! So one can quit the client, and the downloads will go on in the background through a demon?
I like this... I'll uncheck the Classic Mode, and see if it gets more stable this way.
Thanks
