Heavy memory usage

Post by pazuzu »

Using Deluge 1.1.2 on Ubuntu 8.10, deluged starts running at an astonishing 543 Mb Ram usage, then keeps on eating up memory.
Tried various reinstalls and /.config/deluge sanitation with same results, never had same problem with previous versions.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Looks like some sort of a memory leak, i never had a problem with such one using Deluge. It stays at about 60MB together (both deluge and deluged). But Azureus without a memory leak takes about 300 MB minimum :D

you could try a reinstall or failing that, running it with debug logging enabled and seeing if anything unusual pops up.
