Remote connection with console UI

Post by GreenSkol »

Hi,

I'm using deluge 1.1.0 on Ubuntu and it seems that it's impossible to connect to a remote deluge daemon with the console UI.
I didn't find a way to pass the login/pass to the "connect" console command, so I always get a "core proxy is invalid" error after connecting.

Everything seems to be correctly configured :
The deluge daemon and the web UI are running on a headless server (Ubuntu 8.10).
I can remotely access to the daemon via the Gtk UI (I've set up authentication on the server and disabled the classic mode on the remote client).
I can remotely access the Web UI.

Is it a limitation of the console UI ? Will it be fixed ?
Either way, I can still use the console UI using a SSH connection to the server.

Thanks,

GreenSkol.

AFAIK, Consule UI doesn't support remote connections.
Not sure if it will be added or not, best would be to create a ticket.

ConsoleUI doesn't support (yet) using username/password, I'll add support once I'll have a bit of time (and figure out the api command syntax)

:)
