Creating torrents with 4MB pieces?

It seems that torrent creator plugin supports only 2MB not 4MB.

Could this be fixed. I already had a chat about this and 4MB is generally supported, it's just missing from the picklist.

Bump! I just created torrent which content is over 30 gigabytes. Resulting torrent was about 400 kilobytes. It would be really nice to allow using 4MB blocks instead of maximum of 2MB.

Only modification needed (?) should be adding menu entry. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Bump! After torrent creator moved from old 0.5.X to 1.1.X series, we lost all larger piece sizes than 512. Why is that. I were hopping to get even larger piece sizes.

I tried to search for answer. But it seems that New deluge uses different torrent creator than older ones. So to the point.

I'm unable to create torrents with larger piece size than 512 Kb, when I download large torrents usual piece size being used is 4 MB. If I got it right, 4 MB is non-standard size, old torrent creator plugin supported up to 2 MB.

Do I need to use separate torrent creator software to create those? I'm otherwise very happy with deluges torrent creator.

Now largest .torrent files which I create are 1.5 megabytes, which isn't desirable outcome.

400kB torrent, what is it when compared to 30GB of data
Making bigger pieces makes a greater chance to lose it due to data corruption (always happens).

I join this feature request.
There are trackers that limit max torrent size. For example torrents.ru (main russian tracker and the fourth in the world) has a limit of 250KB per torrent. There are also such trackers where piece size is restricted by local rules regardless of release size. So in the most of cases I have to create torrents in other clients. This feature is really necessary for some users.

Even if nobody never replied that 4MB piece would be supported. It is now done. So issue is solved.
