How to change passkey

Post by BX001 »

How do I change the passkey in Deluge ?
The edit (from the menu where you select the .torrent) option does nothing.
Thank you.

I believe you are talking about the tracker for a private site? If you reset your passkey you'd have to re-download the torrent.

Yes, for private trackers.
I don't want to redownload anything.
I want to know how can I change the passkey to the one I want.

The edit tracker dialog doesn't work from the Add torrent Dialog and the button has been removed in trunk.. Just add the torrent and then edit the tracker list. You can add the torrent in a paused state if you don't want it to announce to the tracker prior to you changing it.

In the Add Torrent Dialog? Yea.. It is supposed to do nothing because it doesn't work there.. Add the torrent and then edit the trackers.

I confirm it does work in this way, after the torrent is added, you right-click the torrent and click edit trackers, highlight the one you need to change, click edit, [change it], click ok, click ok.
