I didn't concern about memory usage, but it happens to me deluge re-scan everytime it restarted... for around 20 minutes my PC exactly slow until finished scanning.

Of course, I've found the last statement to be terribly false. I don't know what kind of monster those other people have, but having Azureus open while playing a game isn't really working for my 4Gbs of RAM.
I'm thinking that's more of a CPU issue rather than a memory issue.

IMO, Deluge is not lightweight in the window version, but it's OK because so far it didn't really affect my PC performance at all when it's active. Azureus is just horrible because it will freeze my PC after activated for a long period & usually end up crashed my PC!

I did a few tests on Deluge, & I think Deluge RAM usage is around 40 to 13 MB - which is not bad considered it will drop down to around 13 MB once everything settle down. The most important thing is the RAM usage do not increase over time, which is considered as very stable & reliable compare to Azureus...

In Malaysia our torrent is throttled.

I use to use utorrent before the throttle took effect, and ever since i get a measly 5kbps..............

Then i switched to Deluge and guess what, i normally get 100 kbps + and my max i ever got was 180 kbps.

So to me Deluge > Utorrent nuff said
