a little, yeah. we did some performance-related tweaks, including trimming some fat. it's not much, but every little bit helps :)

* Use pieces wanted instead of total pieces to draw adv progress bar
I think this is certainly a good idea, but personally I preferred the old method. Could this be made an option?

EDIT: Also this version seems to randomly do huge file writes locking up anything using the hard disk...

Hi, I don't know if this is the place to report bugs, but in Ubuntu Gutsy (everything up to date). this new version (as compared to 0.5.8) messes with the order of the torrents and with the columns' widths within sessions.

This also happens to me, and in combination with the file writes that lock up my system every few minutes, I have decided to roll back to 5.8 for now...

Error in download_count on line 338.
./windows/0.5.8.1/deluge-0.5.8.1.exe is already defined.
Please let me download the latest version, I'm very interested in this application.

Check! Excellent list! I especially love all of those features! - Thank you so much!

I still have problem with deluge (Ubuntu, 64bit), it won't start. But I think something got corrupted.

needless casts
Could that have been key to that high overhead that I and others were experiencing?
