Deluge 1 - blocklist worked once, now it does nothing

I installed the newest deluge version and the bocklist plugin worked great....once. Now, no matter what I do, the list downloads, but is not imported.

First, it didn't download on startup like I told it to. After disabling and reenabling the plugin, at least it will now download. Unfortunately, even
though it downloads the list, it does not apply it. 0 blocked ips.

Is there a fix for this?

try removing the blocklist.conf and blocklist.cache in ~/config/deluge update again to see if it solves it
