Associate with .torrent

Post by user1notfound »

Hi there. So far i am really happy with Deluge it seems to be working better than the other clients. I am currently running Vista-64 and downloaded the 64 bit version. The installation process gave me no option to associate .torrent files with deluge. i can't find it anywhere under the options section in the program. I thought it was just a vista problem, but when i downloaded the 32 bit version i then installed it on xp i ran across the same problem with no option to associate.

i realize that i could just right click a .torrent file and set "open with" but deluge is not listed there. I could manually navigate to the executable but i all i see are scripts and cmd fliles.

i really want to set it as my default torrent program

thanks for any and all help, its much appreciated!

Seems like the right place to post, since it is Windows related. The installer usually takes care of associating the .torrent to deluge properly, it worked properly for 0.9, it is just a packaging problem.
It is easy enough to associate it manually, in the deluge install directory point it to deluge.cmd, either the main folder or the scripts folder one should work.
