Windows XP Support

Post by ususer »

Hi,
I opened up Deluge, then added some torrents to download. Then it was checking the torrents. Then I pressed the close X button and expected deluge to still be on, but be minimized to the task tray. Well this actually closed the whole program. Anyhow, then I proceeded to restart the program, and it didn't. I'd get the deluge icon in the task tray for a few seconds and then it would disappear?

Oh...I just tried reinstalling...by uninstalling first then installing, and nothing...

I try to run it and the icon in the task tray runs for a few sec then goes away as soon as I hover the mouse over it. But dbus-daemon-deluge.exe and daemon.exe processes stay....

Anyone else seen this?

Deluge won't start anymore. What do I do?
Sometimes, the configuration files might get corrupted. In Linux, you can fix this by typing `rm ~/.config/deluge/persistent.state` in a command prompt. In Windows, you can fix this by deleting C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Deluge\persistent.state. This will remove all of your torrents, but don't freak out; you can reload them and Deluge will continue from where it left off. By default the torrent files are saved to ~/.config/deluge/torrentfiles/ in Linux and C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Deluge\torrentfiles\ in Windows.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
