Hi!

Deluge is great but there is something what I would call an inconsistency. When you are seeding/leeching something - the others in the cloud will have little flags
in connection with their IP number to show where they are from. There should be name of country when you hover over them I think - otherwise it makes no sense to have the flags at all. Who knows all 300 countries in the world by heart? I would say very few, by adding country name - it's also a nice little game to try to guess flags and then see if it was correct.

My suggestion is 1. add country names when mouse hovers over flag. If this is not possible then my other suggestion is 2. Drop the flags from the program all together. without country name - flags are useless.

Does this make sense?

I agree to the idea of adding a name to go with the flag I'm not sure about the hovering over though... never really been a big fan, but maybe if it was in a right-click menu... or just named after the flag icon, it's not like the peers tab is all that cluttered, mine personally has tons of empty room across the columns.

On a personal note, I really only seen maybe 5-6 different countries in torrents I've downloaded... I can remember those flags at least. It's those rare ones you gotta look up their ISP data to figure it out (easiest way I found) though not exactly nice.

This is a good idea, but there might be some technical challenges.. The last time I looked into adding tooltips to treeview cells, it wasn't too promising.. I think GTK+ has improved somewhat since I last looked at it so it may be a possibility now.

I think the point of the flag icons is for you to recognise when you're connected to someone in your own country (whose flag you should know), however I also agree, country name tooltip would by handy.
