WebUI : Advanced-template:test+feedback request.

Post by mvoncken »

Hi,

I added an advanced template to the WebUi.
Uses javascript + advanced-css.
Features:
*richer ui.
*multiple-select (ctrl key)
*filters on torrent-state and tracker.
*https(allso in default-template)

The advanced-template will never work on IE6
It should work on other browsers, but only firefox was tested.

Download the latest version of deluge, and change the template to "advanced"
Please test/ give me some feedback.

I tried it out in XP on the following browsers: Opera 9.24, Opera 9.5 (beta), Firefox 2, IE7, Safari 3
  • Opera 9.24: the details window is white when nothing is selected. other than that it works fine.
  • Opera 9.5b: works fine.
  • Firefox 2: works fine.
  • IE7: the toolbar which should be at the bottom of the page is halfway. this can be fixed by changing the appropriate positions from fixed to absolute.
the details window has a white background instead of being blue (like in opera 9.24) however when you select a torrent the background doesn't change and it spits an error saying the object on line 60 doesn't support a property or method.
  • Safari 3: although the layout is fine, safari has a lot of trouble actually loading the page, it keeps on getting an “unknown error” ((null):10053). maybe someone on a mac could confirm that.
also -moz-border-radius isn't an actual CSS property

btw, I can post screenshots if you want as well...
