Set DSCP for Traffic Shaping

Post by gazpachoking »

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a feature to set the DSCP bits on peer connections. This would make it much easier to set up my traffic shaping rules at the router. Or is there any other way that I can set up the rules for my traffic shaping to differentiate the outgoing bittorrent traffic? I am actually running deluge 9.08 on the router (which is a headless box running vyatta vc4 (debian based)) if that makes things any easier.

I assume your talking about the TOS byte and this has been added to 1.1.0 along with setting the outgoing ports, so you could shape on those too.
