RC8 has a same bug as RC7 - some (but not all) torrents with files with russian name (UTF-8, so I can't understand where is the problem) can't be added (but show no error). And also as in RC7 if I close Add torrent dialog with "x" button on a right top corner (or with Alt+F4), then I can't open it from Deluge without restart.

UPDATE:
There are no incoming connections again. It seem that it only works after disabling classic mode the first time after a clean install or reinstall.

Did a clean install of RC 8 (deleted all files in Application Data) and still there are no incoming connections (classic mode disabled) and still can't load torrents.

has the automatic "open with" like you see in the download dialog box in firefox been added in this version? If so, what file should I point too?

other than that, everything seems to be good ive been running 9.07 without any incident on 32x vista ultimate - wait actually ive kind of noticed that I have to close deluge to get peer guardian 2 up and working properly, and ALSO if im running PG2 the ipfilter/block plugin doesnt seem to work ...

any answers to my Q?

To "open with" in firefox you have to point it to the deluge.cmd in the main install directory.

As far as PG2 you'd probably have to report to them, might be a Vista incompatibility... and if you have peer guardian running there's no need to run blocklist plugin in deluge, they do essentially the same thing but PG2 is system-wide.

Clean install (with legacy registry and Doc & Setgs entries deleted) or overlap install (with rc7). None of the methods used were successful.

After installation, when deluge.cmd is clicked the window frame for deluge comes on and the prog freezes.

Had problems with RC7 hanging while doing a file check but this is more serious. It won't even start!

Running XPsp2 had never had problems with deluge series before.

Pls update RC8. :P

Hi!

I did a fresh install of 0.9.08 (removed all previous versions), and now I can't start it. If I launch deluge.cmd in a cmd window I get this message (german):

Code: Select all

"\Deluge" kann syntaktisch an dieser Stelle nicht verarbeitet werden.
And there is no file named deluge.exe or deluged.exe in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Deluge\".
I use Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit SP1.

Any suggestions what to do?

I don't know german, google tells me something about syntax not able to process...?

Basically RC6 is the latest working for 64 bit users.
