No seeds in deluge
No seeds in deluge
Tracker show more than 20 seeds and a few leechers, but Deluge don't see all of them. Sometimes one seed appear in deluge, but not more. And it's only with 2 torrents in queue.

Moreover, Deluge show 1 seeders but 0 peers!

How can it be?

Re: No seeds in deluge
Seeds are users with full copies, Peers are "leeches." In one understanding Seeds and Leeches are all Peers. But in this case, they're whole and partial seeders.
Also, depending on the tracker, the peer information it provides can be really, really shaky.

Ok, but usually deluge show information about peers and seeder like this: CONNECTED_TO_YOU(ALL), but what does only one number mean?trektorrents wrote:Seeds are users with full copies, Peers are "leeches." Yes, but if my tracker show 20 seeders it means in this case that there are at least 10-15 seeders, but Deluge can't see anyone! It seems like deluge can't connect to tracker at all. But in Deluge tracker status is "Announce OK"...trektorrents wrote:Also, depending on the tracker, the peer information it provides can be really, really shaky.

Re: No seeds in deluge
Well, very funny: I have restart Deluge and all torrents in queue were showed with appropriate information about seeders and peers. Very, very interesting!

Re: No seeds in deluge
Only 1 number is the number of seeds (or peers) connected to you, and the client was unable to get the number of seeds/peers from the tracker. This is standard for uTorrent and Azureus/Vuze, as well.Malamut wrote:Ok, but usually deluge show information about peers and seeder like this: CONNECTED_TO_YOU(ALL), but what does only one number mean?trektorrents wrote:Seeds are users with full copies, Peers are "leeches." My guess is that the one person you're connected to connect to you, you didn't connect to them. So all you know from Deluge is that you're connected to 1 seed, and you don't know how many seeds/peers there are, until it successfully scrapes the tracker.
Re: No seeds in deluge
yeah, same here, so I have to restart deluge periodically.Malamut wrote:Well, very funny: I have restart Deluge and all torrents in queue were showed with appropriate information about seeders and peers. Very, very interesting!

Re: No seeds in deluge
same problem, download is too slow, noooooo seeders (tracker show many over 100)... but leechers are there... where' s the problem?
restart doesn' t work, no seeders, only leechers and I download little bit from them

Re: No seeds in deluge
Now I found the reason of the bug... it' s very simple... just it doesn' t connect to passive peers (on private trackers, maybe on free trackers too)
it runs 2 hours and it doesn' t do notning!!!

my port is correctly opened (for tcp and too for UDP)... the problem is in Deluge, other things seems to work prety well...
leechers can connect to me (passive and active), but I can connect only to active seeders!!!!!!!
Please help, I need webui and Deluge is fast for my server (433Mhz) and all I can set in webui.... one week later I' m using Vuze and all goes normal... but Vuze 4 is for my server critical... I need switch to somethnig more efficiently to resources... dleuge is solution, but this buge is vera huge...
I' m using Deluge 1.0.4 (deluge 1.1, don' t work webui for me, I can' t test it)
