Hi:

Firstly may I say-this is a great improvement on an already great client but while using it on x64 Vista Ulimate machine, I have noticed a few things that could be termed as bugs:

1. There does not seem to be a way of associating the client, as the default, at least not that I have not found, maybe a button within the configuration menu system would provide a solution.

2. The DHT does not seem to work or there is a minor problem with GUI that does not show the number of clients in the distributed hash table.

3. Also the configuration wizard seems to have completely disappeared from this update

Anyway excellent client, will keep testing

1. Should be fixed in the next RC.

2. I will look into this.

3. The wizard has not been created for 1.0.0 yet.. It may make an appearance in 1.1.0, but it is of low-importance.

DHT is working for me it displays in the gui. I did notice it is about 1/3 of what it used to show in 0.5. 117 vs 350 or so.

Another annoying thing is that when I restart Deluge, the queue is messed up and I have to reorganize it again! It's really frustrating.
The open folder has been fixed.

I am not quite sure what you mean by the queue is messed up? Do the torrents not retain their queuing order? Please note that seeds do not have a queue position.
Yes!!! Torrents not retain their queuing order. After restart needs to rearrange again.
My OS: Debian (testing).

What is Deluge?
Deluge is a lightweight, Free Software, cross-platform BitTorrent client.
I dont think it can be considered lightweight anymore. With 38MB installer and a 200MB+ install in Windows i can hardly call it lightweight.
It uses the latest GTK i think which screws with pidgin. And it doesn not seem to work with GTK 2.12.1 Rev B so im kinda screwed.

is this how it is going to be in windows for Deluge version 1.0.0?

On Linux it's ~2Mb only.

You could always make the wise choice of using Linux... :)

1. The RC2 is only 90Mb installed.
2. It doesn't mess with Pidgin for me.
3. It is a RC they already said they might be able to make it smaller.

Hi,

Can someone tell me where to go in Ubuntu Hardy to remove all remnants of Deluge? I will be putting it back at some stage soon I hope, but I've had different versions on here and see that my old 'Prefs' choices are still remembered, even though I did a complete uninstall with SPM.

Also...I have the block list importing successfully in 0.5.9.3 - can I see somewhere (plugin?) which IP ranges are actually being blocked during a download?

Thanks
