This isn't very important but I thought it should be mentioned at least.
Setup: Ubuntu 8.04, Deluge version: deluge-torrent_0.9.02-1_i386.hardy.deb
When deluge loads, the Statusbar (labels as well, no matter what you change) is enabled by default. If you have blocklists working, the added info on the statusbar can cause the deluge window to react abnormally. It sometimes extends past the right side of the screen (resolution 1024 X 768). Attempts to resize fail. Maximizing by double click on title bar or right-click menu has no effect. Resize through right click affects vertical, but not horizontal. My guess is the statusbar refuses to have info not shown and doesn't wrap to a 2nd line so it forces the window size to be at least wide enough to allow all the information. With experimentation, I made the statusbar fit the windowsize by disabling it, then downloading/importing the blocklist, then enabling the statusbar. It crammed itself in that way. Making it multiple lines would be wonderful. Thanks for any attention, I just wanted to let the devs know about this and also say having tried 4 or 5 other torrent clients deluge is by far the best.
Separate issue: my blocklist url does not save nor do the settings associated with the blocklist plugin. Is this a case of the new deluge breaking a plugin or have I done something wrong?
Thanks in advance.
User Interface problem and Blocklist plugin bug
Re: User Interface problem and Blocklist plugin bug
The blocklist plugin does not work properly. Please see the caveats in the forum post regarding 1.0.0_RC2.
