I've noticed from the beginning of my Deluge using that the upload speeds are pretty slow! Most nights I'm getting maybe 20% of my max upload speed. There are times when it hits my max up speed, but it's not as consistent as it was when I was using uTorrent on Windows. I've tried setting my upload slots (both Global and "per torrent") to settings that should increase the speed, but no one setting "fixes" the problem. I'm seeding torrents that should take up my entire bandwidth, so the issue is not with the number of peers connecting to me. In fact, when I look at the Details pane, I find that most peers connect, and then just as quickly, disconnect from me.. That can't be normal!
I'm on Kubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) with latest Deluge (0.5.6.2)
Upload bandwidth: 512 Kbps (currently set in Deluge as 51 KB/s max upload speed)
Great BitTorrent program, though! It cannot be beat in *nix
Has anyone found any settings that maximize
upload speeds? My download speeds are, as far as I know, working just fine!
