Checked out revision 3249 in Terminal ubuntu

Hello,

I am unable to install the new version by .deb file, it seem to install it and get succefull, but i dont have in Menu Application the icon to launch it. So I Type deluge in terminal to launch it but it open the old verion 5.9.1 and then i tried to do the install through Terminal $ svn co http://svn.deluge-torrent.org/trunk deluge
but i get this message :
Checked out revision 3249.

What to do ? please help

Through the terminal, you have just downloaded the source code for the application--it still needs to be compiled into machine language binary files and installed into your system.

that is what i followed but i dont get the new version, that is the problme, feel like they did nto updated the source ?
