Hi - I am new to the world of torrents and deluge. I have managed to get v0.6 running headless on my Ubuntu 8.04 server and have got a few torrents running by manually adding the torrent URLs. I was wondering if it is possible to configure the deluge daemon to monitor a path so that you can drop a .torrent file into it and have it automatically picked up and processed?
BTW - I have found v0.6 to be quite stable so far. Very impressive!
0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
you can configure the "Auto Add folder" to point to the path you want. in the web ui go to the Download section of the Config menu
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
Thanks danii - probably should have figured that one out for myself!
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
I set the auto add folder and restarted the deluge daemon but nothing happens when I drop a .torrent file in there. Is this feature operational in v0.6? Is there something I need to do to trigger the load of that torrent?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
well it was working but it got broken in the latest revisions, I've already submitted a bug report
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
Anyone know if this has been fixed in the latest nightly?
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
the problem is fixed since revision 3211, you can follow development and bugs in http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/timeline
Re: 0.6 Auto-pickup of torrents
Thanks Danii - I am amazed at how active the development is on this project! Great work. Any idea when 0.6 is scheduled for release?
