Today i update to hardy from gutsy and i installed deluge from the ubuntu repository. I tried to download a torrent of 53Gb that have many file in it using the torrent files plugin to choose which files i want to download because i have all the space in my HD. Even if I choose one file when i start the torrent the program gives me an error that said "You don't have 53Gb free to download this torrent".
is there any problem with this plugin with the hardy version of Deluge ?
Tnx for the help.

.5.8.9 is the latest version? And that's what's in the hardy repos, too.zoze wrote:many guys have the same problem including me there are 3++post in the support.Download the 0.5.8.7 version and your problem will be solved.

do you mean just partially or completely?ShinjiLeery wrote:The real problem is that even if i choose to not download a file in the torrent, it downloaded anyway. Nobody have this issue?
deluge will partially download files you didn't ask to download however this is due to the way bittorrent works http://deluge-torrent.org/faq.php#6n41
yes 0.5.8.9 is the latest, however if you're experiencing problems with it try downgrading to 0.5.8.7.Xiong Chiamiov wrote:.5.8.9 is the latest version? I explain that with an example. I have a 53Gb torrent made of 100 files. Before starting the torrent (pause) i choose to download only five files because i haven't the total space in my hd. The dimension of the torrent doesn't change in the box and when i start the torrent it keeps me saying that i haven't enough space in my hd. With smaller torrent even if say to download only some files the program downloads all.
I tried with the 0.5.8.7 for hardy that works in gusty but there's a similar problem. I can choose a file within a torrent, the total dimension change, but during the download the single bar of any files doesn't change. So i guess is a problem of hardy or the deb for hardy in the repository...
Re: Torrent files plugin & Hardy
0.5.8.7 works to me (hardy)0.5.9 same problem at big torrent files.

Maybe we have to inform the developer about this problem...
