Rechecking of all downloaded files after a clean shutdown?

Deluge appears to recheck all of my downloaded files after each time I close the client cleanly. I repeat, I shutdown Deluge cleanly; it did not crash. I've even tried pausing all torrents before a clean shutdown. No matter what, Deluge checks all my downloaded files again when I start the client the next time. Quite annoying for lots of downloaded files or large files.

I am running Deluge 0.5.5 on Arch Linux. The computer is an old Pentium III 600 MHz with 512MB RAM if that matters. File system is XFS. Allocation was set to Compact Allocation when I downloaded the torrents (I have since switched to Full Allocation).

Am I doing something wrong?
