Hi,
I have the impression that my home server is running a little hotter than it used to.
deluged is currently using ~30% cpu which I think is lot higher than it used to be (under 5%?) - there are no active torrents.
Also it is on 99.3g of virtual memory which seems quite a lot.
Might there be a memory leak or something?
deluged high cpu and virtual memory usage
Re: deluged high cpu and virtual memory usage
Hello pjlbyrne,
What version of deluge are you using, what Linux distro are you using? And have you also tried restarting the deluge systemd service?

Re: deluged high cpu and virtual memory usage
Hi Shinger,
It says it deluge 2.1.1.
I last synced off master and built it last April. Yes I have tried restarting it. I will sync & build now.

Re: deluged high cpu and virtual memory usage
VMEM is ~1MB after re-install doesnt seem to be climbing, CPU still seems quite high at 23% considering its not got any active torrents. ??
Re: deluged high cpu and virtual memory usage
Hello pjlbyrne,
Can you pause all the torrents and then start to experiment with lets say 5 each time to resume and wait for like 5 minutes to see if it changes. If you suddenly start seeing the CPU go constantly to around 23%, then you can narrow it down to see if it maybe because one torrent or something.
Mine with 126 torrents in seeding state (none active right now) the CPU is between 6.6-12%, with spikes going to 19%, 25% and even 33% but then going back down. Memory is constantly on 22.3% (RES 3498MB)
