Do we have this? Allow mapping local (deluge-thin client) and remote (deluged) paths

Post by Lucho »

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for this functionality, not sure if Deluge has it. Do we have the ability to double click the torrent name and that will open the folder location?... and the ability to map a remote folder in your NAS for instance?

Something like this: https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/3553

Hello Lucho,

Often those small things will be put on a backlog and it will take years IF even something is being done.

In your case i would just suggest, the download folder on your NAS. Share it through Samba also (do be aware of the correct user + group). Then on your desktop (not sure if you use Linux distro or Windows or Mac), but mount that folder. And then look at the Files tab and see what the directory/file is called.

That is the most easiest way to do. It will take a bit longer, but be sure of it, the exact functionality has a low priority among the low priority stuff.
