Im not good at theme related stuff, so please others jump in if knowing something.

Could you please lift restrictions on pic posted, thanks.

Sorry, but what header text? The menu-bar entries in headerbar. The first pic you posted to me just looked like little wrong icons - which should be adwaita-icon-theme, there's also an adwaita-icon-theme-full I read quickly, but not sure that is needed.

Changing between icon themes and other stuff is in:

GTK 2 user specific: ~/.gtkrc-2.0
GTK 2 system wide: /etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
GTK 3 user specific: $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/gtk-3.0/settings.ini, or $HOME/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini if $XDG_CONFIG_HOME is not set
GTK 3 system wide: /etc/gtk-3.0/settings.ini
I can maybe suggest propper setting when better understanding issue, but no promises. Also, deluge1 or deluge2?

Thank for your Input and sorry about the image.
(but thats another problem).

Apparently the problem is only present when using VNC
If using (x)RDP then everything is present.
What I am missing (when using VNC) is the column headline (Name, Size, uploaded etc.)
The space is there, but the text is missing.

Deluge2, dev build.

Are the window decorations missing? This is a bug in Ubuntu or Xfce which might still be present: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1860921

Not sure about how to fix it, since I'm not using Ubuntu.

Thanks jeps for elaborating.

Awesome find fmar, thanks for jumping in :) Upon reading through that, then seems related indeed.

So according to fmar's helpful link, then xfwm4 4.14.2 and up, should presumably fix this(ubuntu 18.04 uses xfwm4 4.12.4, and updates to 4.12.5 only, through its repos, so would need manual update to get newer), or changing to other VNCserver implementation alternatively. You could also update the full xfce instead of just the window manager component of it(xfwm4), but issue should only need the window manager to be updated however according to a couple reports in that thread.

The link posted is outdated, so here's the newest link I believe, don't know though if can be installed on 18.04 without issue, or even works with older xfce, but maybe worth a try, but up to you, and please don't blame me if getting into issues later on if doing such :)

Good luck.

Wow, thanks for all the inputs.

I think my problem is due to the somewhat outdated TightVNC that is installed per default on the server.
I have tried XRDP and X2GO and both gives the right graphic/text.

Again, thanks for your input.
