Cannot reset webui password

I must have changed my webui password at some point, but can't figure it out. I run:

Code: Select all

systemctl stop deluge-web.service

Then edit the web.conf file to remove the line that says pwd_sha1.

if I then start and stop the webui again, the same line shows up in web.conf as pwd_sha1.

Where is this password coming from? It's not "deluge"

Jeez, I also needed to remove the pwd_salt line... Once I did that, all good.
