Can Deluge 2.0.3 connect to Deluge Daemon runnning 1.3.13?

Hi,
I utilize a setup where deluged runs on a raspberrypi with raspbian. The version is 1.3.13. On my laptop I run Manjaro. As Deluge got updated to 2.0 I could not connect to my daemon anymore. At the moment I workaround by using the Web Interface. But is it possible to connect to it with the normal GTK Client?

Sorry, the answer is no. When deluge 2.0 was first announced, Cas answered/stated:

Is the windows thin client compatible with 1.3 daemon?

Afraid a 2.0 thin client is not compatible and would not make sense to as it contains many changes that require the 2.0 daemon features. However the main reason is that incompatible changes were made to the communication protocol so 2.0 clients cannot even message 1.3 daemons.

I have my Manjaro set to keep Deluge at 1.3.15. You could downgrade your deluge and then keep it blocked from updates.
