Can't connect using thin client. Deluged log shows this-
Code: Select all
[INFO ] 14:03:52 rpcserver:206 Deluge Client connection made from: 172.17.0.1:47084
[INFO ] 14:03:53 rpcserver:226 Deluge client disconnected: [('SSL routines', 'ssl3_get_record', 'wrong version number')]
The server is running 1.3.15. Client is running 1.3.15.1.
Not sure how to get the client to connect?

I have no idea what those logs could mean.
Did you make sure to add a user and password to the server side auth file?

Thought I could just use the default. That's what I get for thinking too much.
Fixed now. Thanks.

Hellu,
I'm totally new to deluge but found it when looking for something to run on my headless server.
I'm running a macOS server and want to connect from another mac. Have managed to allow remote connection and add username and password to the auth file.
Unfortunately I don't see any green light on my client.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong...
Appreciate any help I can get!
/Adam

I can add that the web-ui works perfectly. I just wanted the thin client to work as well.
Apparently I'm doing something wrong...

What settings are you using in the Connection Manager on your thin client?

Using the local ip as my host name, standard port.
Username and password according to auth file.
Are there any restrictions on password format?

Try setting a simple password (1234) or similar and test.

Doesn't seem to help.
It's just giving me the "red light" in the connection manager.
