Checking Multiple torrents at once

Are you able to check multiple torrents at once? I have my torrents spread over 4 different drives so I would be able to check 4 torrents at once but unfortunately deluge just checks one at a time. I've searched for a while but cannot find a solution so I thought I'd come here for some advice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I believe that using libtorrent 1.1 will do this for those torrents with auto-managed disabled.
