Proxy setup

Post by jintawk »

Hello,

I'm completely new to working with Proxy servers and have a couple of questions

I have 2 raspberry Pis, both running Raspbian
Pi1 -> 192.168.1.2 - All traffic going through VPN
Pi2 -> 192.168.1.3 - No VPN - Deluge daemon/webUI installed

Is it possible to set up Deluge on Pi2 so that it uses Pi1 as a proxy server? With the goal being that my IP is hidden through the VPN running on Pi1

The benefit of this will be that I can access Pi2 remotely from outside the network, whilst still using VPN

If so, what are the steps to set this up?

Thanks in advance
Cas

I think best scenario is to install the daemon on Pi1 and have webUI on Pi2. It certainly would be possible to do other routing but it's more a linux question than deluge related. The only setting that would be relevant is in deluged, specifying the interface you want to use for bittorrent traffic.
