Not a registered torrent

Post by arblargan »

Greetings,

I've been having an issue on my seedbox lately where nearly all of my torrents added to my watch folder via autodl-irssi will not properly download due to "not a registered torrent" error. I've toyed with adding a delay before download the torrents (8 seconds, 18 seconds, and now 27 seconds), but that doesn't seem to have made much of a difference. Right now, about 4 in 5 downloads will results in this "not a registered torrent" error.

I'm currently running Deluge version 1.3.12 on both the webui of the seedbox, as well as the thin client installed on my desktop. I'm using autodl-irssi v1.60 and trackers v249.

I would very much love to stick with Deluge as my torrent client, but if I can't download 4 out of 5 torrents, then I'm afraid I'm probably going to have to make the switch to rutorrent? Can anybody suggest anything to try and alleviate this issue?

That errors sounds like something related to a private tracker with the wrong passkey, or just a torrent that isn't on the tracker in general. Are you sure you are downloading them properly?

The passkey is input properly and I'm download from IPT which is in the trackers file. It will download the occasional file properly, but as previously said, nearly 80% of torrents added via autodl result in a "not a registered torrent" error. I've since increased the delay before downloading to 45 seconds, but I'm not very hopeful that will work either.
