File too short errors

Post by leetwanker »

I've read through all the threads I can find on this issue and I haven't seen a solution other than to downgrade to 1.3.1, which I think I'm using.

Client: 1.3.6
Server: 1.3.11
libtorrent: 0.16.18.0
OS: Linux osmc 4.1.5-1-osmc #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 19 18:37:30 UTC 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux

I took a screenshot to show as an example, but I'd like to make it clear that these downloads seem to be finishing and then an error is discovered while seeding. Sometimes when downloading larger torrents an error will be found and downloading will stop. Restarting Deluge and rechecking file doesn't help.

Thanks for any help.

It has nothing to do with Deluge version and one of the top search result points specifically to a libtorrent bug, however there is now an issue listed on the new github site: https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent/issues/93

Thanks. Wasn't sure whether or not I'd missed some way to fix the issue. Good to know the problem is being investigated still.
