Problem with closing UPnP ports

Post by RiP »

I have noticed that Deluge doesn't close UPnP ports after quitting :?

I can't really comment on that as I have UPNP disabled in my router and on my programs. Are you able to set a static port and a port forward? That is generally though of as much safer from a security point of view.

Why isn't UPnP safe? Good thing with UPnP is that it can close the port when you exit the program.

Suppose just because everything I read online says to disable it. If I read it on the internet it must be true. :)

This feature works fine in qBittorrent and uTorrent, both can close the ports after quitting to prevent from hacking.
Hope they fix it.

If it works in qbittorent then it's fine in Deluge and it's a libtorrent version issue...
