Cant create a torrent file

Can anyone tell me how to reset Deluge settings? I have read the FAQ but it is too vague... Where is the config directory?


I know the main directory but I do not see the config one.

On Windows 7 delete the folder: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\deluge

All settings are saved in files inside of that folder. The state folder inside of there stores all your current downloads incase you want to save those.

It is a hidden folder so you will have to enable seeing hidden folders or type it in manually.

Cas has poked in a few times. I think the staff is all busy with real life and aren't very active with this project anymore.

Basically, just copy and paste the shortcut you use to start deluge to make a second one. Rename the second one Deluge debug or something, then right click and go to the properties and change the shortcut target:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Deluge\deluge.exe" -L debug -l "C:\deluge-log.txt"

Not sure on how to proceed though? I started Deluge from the shortcut, while using it clicked on Deluge debug. No logs to be seen anywhere

That just looks like you started and closed Deluge? You need to actually attempt to create a torrent file...

Also you don't need to run in Admin mode, just choose the log file location to be writeable by your user, e.g. Desktop
