Downloading to a mounted NAS

I spent all day trying to solve this problem:

Installed deluged and deluge-web on archlinux
Started and enabled both services
Accessed the web UI and set the download location to a mounted NAS location

The test torrent I loaded threw an error with:
Permission denied: /home/admin/NAS_Public/Downloads/checkMyTorrentIp.png

The deluge user is added to the "users" group and NAS_Public is 0775 and belongs to admin:users.

Both of the services are running under the deluge user.
