Re: No seeds in deluge
7 years later, I seem to have the same problem. Except on restart nothing changes.
Deluge does not seem to see any seeds or peers, except maybe a handfull of seeds that connect to me. I have had this problem with many different torrents which each should have thousands of seeders.
Once I was able to redownload the torrent, and it suddenly worked, but with all other torrents I can download as many versions or from as many torrent sites, it just wont work.
I am using the latest version: 1.3.11

Re: No seeds in deluge
Have you guys tried updating your libtorrent to 1.0.4? That might help. Also, make sure your ports are set up correctly and are non standard numbers. Installing the ltConfig plugin and enabling lazy_bitfields might help too.
Re: No seeds in deluge
Ok you tell me how to do this in Windows server 2012 and I will give it a spin.Shryp wrote:Have you guys tried updating your libtorrent to 1.0.4? That might help. Close your deluge client and daemon.JayMan wrote:Ok you tell me how to do this in Windows server 2012 and I will give it a spin.Shryp wrote:Have you guys tried updating your libtorrent to 1.0.4? For windows 7 go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Deluge
Copy or rename your libtorrent.pyd file so you have a backup.
Unzip and copy the libtorrent.pyd from from the thread below to there.
Restart deluge and then use the ltconfig plugin or the help->about links to see what version libtorrent you now have.

Re: No seeds in deluge
Ok so I have my incoming ports starting at 54132 to 55000 outbound are just random should I make those static as well? I change the lazy_bitfields as you suggestedShryp wrote:Have you guys tried updating your libtorrent to 1.0.4? That might help. So in the picture below are top 20 listed torrents on a private tracker. As you see the one downloading has lots of seeders and peers, all the others as soon as they were done downloading they have almost all but stopped seeding even with libtorrent 1.0.4.0. Why when they are done downloading why do all the seeds and peer numbers just goto 0 for the most part?

Re: No seeds in deluge
Private trackers usually have a high number of seeds and very few downloaders, especially with older content. It could simply you aren't seeding because no one is downloading right now. As for the numbers, those can vary based on which trackers you are using. Some torrents can use many trackers and those numbers usually only reflect the active tracker. Stuff like DHT and PeX can affect counts too.
