WebUI not staying connected

I'm using Deluge 1.3.11 on Ubuntu 14.04. The WebUI will launch and the first time that I enter the password and connect to the local instance it works great. However, when I close the browser and then try to connect again from a new browser session, the WebUI comes up but does not have anything listed under the 'Connection Manager' and the bottom left simply says 'Not Connected'.

If I restart the WebUI, then the cycle repeats

Any ideas for where to troubleshoot?
