Deluge
Hi - newbie here & this is my first post - perhaps someone here can explain what is happening with my Torrent files. (FWIW - I'm using the latest Deluge version (V1.3.6) with Linux with a private tracker.)
What I'm seeing is the unwanted/spurious duplication of various torrent downloads, causing wasted disc space and basically upsetting my seeding ratios. The duplicated files have the same name as the initial download with the suffix appended (either _OLDER or _NEWER) - not sure how it decides which suffix to append - perhaps someone here can enlighten me.
My understanding is that this maybe caused by some auto tagging or updating that modifies the downloaded file(s). So far I leave the files 'in situ' so they can reseed - so that eliminates any issue of the files being moved.
I've done some online research on this, but so far have come up empty - perhaps someone here with more Torrent experience can explain what I am missing here.
