Delete Partials problem

Post by softair »

[Noob alert]

Running Deluge 1.3.11 on a headless Ubuntu server, accessing via the Web interface from a Windoze machine, largely without problems so far. Would like to use Delete Partials to resolve problem of unwanted files.

Have downloaded the Delete Partials 2.6 egg onto the server, renamed it to 2.7 as suggested elsewhere, and put it in the deluge plugins directory. Restarted the Deluge daemon, and DeletePartials shows up as a plugin on the Web interface (so far so good), and I can select it. But if I close the Preferences dialog and re-open it, DeletePartials has become unselected.

Looking at the log files, Deluge was complaining it couldn't find /var/lib/deluge/.config/deluge/web_plugin.conf and ...deletepartials.conf which I guess are configuration files. I created a couple of empty files to see if that helped, but it now just complains it can't load the configuartion from them (not altogether surprising,I guess).

Any suggestions would be most welcome!

TIA

B.

It would seem that even though the Delete Partials plugin isn't sticky as far as the WebUI is concerned, this configuration does in fact work, removing the stragglers when the torrent is removed. Hmm...
