Deluge proxy settings not working

Post by hawk »

I have installed deluge 1.3.11 for the first time on Windows 7 64bit.
The proxy settings don't seem to work properly. There are "Peer", "Web Seed", "Tracker" and "DHT" options. I have Peer and Web Seed set to use SOCKS5 server1, while Trackers and DHT go through SOCKS5 server2.
When I download, all traffic is being sent through SOCKS5 server2. When I change the DHT settings to use SOCKS5 server1, all traffic is now sent through server1 (trackers and peers). I have all the "Network Extras" disabled (UPnP, NAT-PMP, Peer Exchange, LSD, DHT).

I want to use a server for downloading off other peers/seeds and another server to just look up the trackers. Reason for this is that my main proxy server cannot lookup trackers, while my 2nd server can but has far less performance.

any help is appreciated.

The multiple types is a legacy of older libtorrent versions in the Proxy tab. With 0.16 libtorrent only a single proxy setting is used for all traffic. (i.e. just set one or all the same)

thanks for that. Is there any way to get it to use multiple proxy methods?
