Changing Linux Distribution, how to back up torrents?

Post by 498201 »

Hello.

I'm actually using Deluge on Fedora 20 but I'm going to change from Fedora to Arch Linux; I would love to know if there's a way to backup my torrents and my torrents status as I'm currently seeding 250+ torrents, some of them only have 2 or 4 seeders and I want them to be available for everyone as long as possible.

I'm going to do a clean install, with a new home folder and everything, I'm even buying a new HDD.

Thanks in advance :D

This has been asked before but just copy over your config and ensure the storage paths to torrent data are identical.

Thanks for the reply. I'll do that and see what happens, sorry if I asked it again, but I could only find info about reinstalling the same distro while keeping the same /home folder.

Thanks, I'll comment how everything went!! :D
