It will be up to you to figure out why it is slower so you need to test different lt settings from lt config such as turning off uTP or changing other relevant settings. You can use the libtorrent tuning page for reference (problem with site means I have linked to archive version)

I installed the ltConfig plugin, and noticed rasterbar.com seems to be down, so no manual to work with. Thanks for linking the archive, I'll look through it and see if anything fixes the seeding.

Just to be clear my download speeds are fine, and my connection supports 2700/400 down/up. I have no problem hitting the down, but don't want to just take and not give. Hopefully can figure out a tweak, if not will have to wait for a better libtorrent version.

I disabled sending outgoing utp, that seems to have made some difference as for the past day I have been getting seeding speeds between 20 at times even 400, though the higher upload speed is far less often. I also removed all the limit settings, not sure if that helped. Anyway have gotten shares to over 1 on several torrents the past few days which is better than I've had for the past month.

Hello,

I'm not going to help, but I face the same kind of issue : http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... =7&t=48635

If I understand correctly, the issue is coming from libtorrent, not Deluge itself. I understand the point of view of Cas, but if nothing is fixed on any side, the only thing that will happen is that people will just use another software. At least, that's what I am doing: we are in the year 2014, I will not spend hours and hours to fine tune my configuration just to have a decent upload speed. That's what I was doing with eMule 12 years ago...

So far, Transmission gives very good results.
I will test with qBittorrent, apparently it also uses libtorrent. To be continued...

Hi, isn't it possible to switch to libtorrent 1.0.2? Maybe it fixes this issue:
* fixed uTP upload performance issue

You can try it, the switch to 0.16 (for windows) was because 1.0 is still a bit of an unknown whereas 0.16 is meant to be stable.

No improvement with libtorrent 1.0.1.0 :( Did anybody test version 1.0.2.0 ? This build is not in the libtorrent repository.

Have you tried installing the ltConfig plugin and disabling outgoing utp? That was all I needed to do to fix this. Not sure if you're also using the proxy settings, but using the DHT proxy also seems to kill sharing. I still have a few torrents I was unable to seed fully, but that's like 6 out of several hundred. The above two changes have allowed me to fully seed in the current libtorrent version.

Hey,

thanks for your post! Seems like this fixed the slow upload performance. I also disabled the incoming utp connections and set the mixed_mode_algorithm ot 0.
Now uploads are fast :)

Thank you again ;)
