2 Deluge (1 as deluge and 1 as PI)

Post by chu »

I'm using Deluge since a couple of weeks without problem. :)
Running on Raspbian (Raspberry PI).
Now I detected 2 processes "deluged", 1 under deluge user and the second under the PI user.
Similar issue with the "deluge-web" processes.
Moreover, both PI processes are automatically restarted ca. every 3 min.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You probably have a service installed, you will need to investigate what you have setup.

First to clarify, I'm newbe in Linux and Debian :|
After some investigations, I found the following:
- initctl list shows: deluge is Start/running with p = 3076 and deluge-webui is S/R with p = 15373. But the process id for deluge-webui is changing every 2-3 min !
- top shows: others process, deluge as 899 and deluge-web as 996 both under "deluge".

Any log info? in which log file ?

If no direct solution, can I unistall and reinstall deluge ?

What init scripts are in the init.d folder?

I doubt reinstalling deluge would have any effect on installed services, although I think they are part of the package.
