Temporary system freezes

Post by Zyl »

Hello,

since installing and using deluge I am experiencing temporary system freezes which last between a few milliseconds and about 3 seconds about every 5 minutes. Even mouse cursor and audio will freeze up. I am quite positive installing deluge was the only recent change to my system, which is Win7 x64. Running Deluge 1.3.7. The problem appears to occur more likely while downloading or seeding a torrent.

What might be wrong here?

So deluge has 550MB RAM usage in idle mode and constantly uses 10% CPU. The cache settings are at default. If you need more info to debug the issue please do tell.

I have switched to Halite for now. It's kinda LQ minimalism, but FOSS and stable. Hope you get this figured out, since it's good software otherwise.

There is nothing to figure out, it is likely the GTK issue that has been reported before: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/1454

Running in thinclient mode is usual workaround.
