SSH Guard, Deluge and opening ports

Post by adampski »

Hi there,

I've noticed since I installed SSH Guard, my Deluge Web UI will not connect to my server's daemon of deluge 1.3.5. My server is Ubuntu Server 14.04. Other than 8112, 58846 and my desired torrent port, shall I force SSH Guard to disregard any other port activity as malicious? If not, what can I do?

I'll elaborate further. I can connect to the web UI fine, however in the connection manager and when selecting 127.0.0.1:58846, I cannot "Connect". The box greys itself out. My only options are to add or remove new connections, or to "Start daemon"... When I press "Start daemon", indeed a new instance of deluged occurs on the server. So connection is there, somewhere. I'm also able to connect to the server via ThinClient with no problems at all, it's just the web UI.
