deluge not downloading

Post by bobbintb »

my deluge will not download. i am not sure if it is every torrent or just some as i do not have that many torrents right now. when i first open deluge it will start downloading and then after a few seconds, plummet and come to a standstill. it works fine in utorrent but i am trying to move away from that program. this only recently started happening.

Sounds like permission issue, any errors in Details tab?

i know it's not a permissions issue.

YO YO

Made an account to try and see if anyone here has info about the posters issue!

i'm on windows 7 x64 and when i load torrents/open Deluge i get no issues and my ports are open.
The torrent starts downloading, but randomly i will lose connection to all seeders and wont reconnect.

any idea's or recommendations would definitely be appreciated.

I've seen a couple posts, have still been searching but found no help. I get this issue on multiple platforms. I'll have to find another client.

All of a sudden, I started having this problem too. I didn't update or anything, but even with many seeds, it rises quickly, and then all the seeders drop off. It seems only to happen on torrents with multiple large files. I did one the other day and it worked fine. Right now, I've got one with 300 seeds (most operating) and it only works about a minute at a time. If I pause it and wait 5 minutes or so and then resume, it will work for another minute and then drop to zero again.

Edit: I should say I tried qTorrent and it seemingly did the same thing (but that uses libtorrent raster as well).

If any torrents are moving that does affect network transfer.
