I have version 1.3.3 installed on Raspberry pi with Raspbian Wheezy.
It crashes a lot.
How do I update it to the latest version?
Upgrade Deluge 1.3.3 to latest version
Re: Upgrade Deluge 1.3.3 to latest version
If it is hard crashing then it is probably due to libtorrent 0.15 so see if you can use 0.16 from testing: http://packages.qa.debian.org/libt/libt ... erbar.html
To actually update Deluge use these instructions: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Inst ... ian/Wheezy

Re: Upgrade Deluge 1.3.3 to latest version
I still don't understand how to update the libtorrent.
Where are the instructions?
Also, I'm unable to update Deluge.
I get the following error right at the beginning of the process: "-bash: deb: command not found"
Please help. Thank you!

Re: Upgrade Deluge 1.3.3 to latest version
You should be editing /etc/apt/sources.lst when typing the deb stuff, not attempting to run those two lines from the command line. After adding those two lines to the file, then you run the rest of them from the actual command line.

Thanks crazycaveman, that worked for me.
Now how do I upgrade the libtorrent? I have version 0.15.10.
I have a Raspberry Pi unit with Raspbian installed.

Re: Upgrade Deluge 1.3.3 to latest version
To be honest, I am not sure. The problem lies in the fact that Raspbian is a highly modified version of Debian and, as such, it is not recommended to mix packages from Debian into Raspbian, unless you know what you're doing. That being said, you could try installing the following: http://packages.debian.org/jessie/armhf ... 7/download. Sorry, but that part is a little out of my league...
