Deluge as Service - cannot start daemon

Post by activoice »

I just installed Deluge

If I have deluge running (manually run from start menu) then there is no problem the Daemon Starts up and everything is functioning fine. I can also reach it over the web interface from another PC.

If I run deluged.exe as a service (using NSSM) the service starts, but when I bring up the interface the status shows as Offline and I can not start the Daemon

If I stop the service, then it shows as Online again... (the service was setup with NSSM, and pointed to deluged.exe then I went into the service properties and entered my user name and password.)

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Perhaps logging for deluged might shed some light.

Couldn't get deluge working as a service. So I tried a few other torrent applications that have a web ui.

I got utorrent working as a service and accessible over the web.

Hello activoice,

This is strange, I'm running Deluge via NSSM on Windows 7 X86 using the admin account login details to launch the service on start and it's working 100%. Classic mode is disabled in the GTK interface of course.
