I think that when you will resume your torrents they'll display a ratio, that's what I get on my Deluge at least. I think the initial bug has been indeed solved (thanks guyz) but now I seem to have the opposite problem: for some of the torrents created with 5.8.7, after a restart the ratio and uploaded bytes appear sky-high (e.g. ratio of 14.000+ and according uploaded gigabytes, which I am sure have not uploaded). Anyone else got this?

If you mean the .deb's available for download at the download page, that's a negative, at least for me (installed it on top of the previous installation). Unfortunately I haven't got a svn edition of deluge to try that out.
