Deluge keep on CRASHES on windows 7

Hello All,

I'm experiencing crashes on my Windows 7 with Deluge 1.3.6, even the previous version, 1.3.3. It crashed about two or three times a day.
So, everyday I have the crash screen and I need to run it again. But, it never crash before until recently.

How am I gonna solve it?

I'm experiencing the same crash problems as you are running Deluge 1.3.6 on Windows 7 x64; Fault Module Name: libtorrent.pyd and Exception Code: c00000fd. I did not try to download and install the version Cas linked to, but I would like to know if you or anyone else are having the same problem. I've set up Deluge with Proxy using socksv4 and the two plugins enabled are WebUi and YaRSS2. I'm disabling YaRSS2 as it has only been tested on Deluge 1.3.5 to see if the plugin is the reason why Deluge keeps crashing maybe 2-3 times a day.

Using Bitdefender by any chance? Deluge would often stop responding while BD was active. Had to stop using BD

So after doing some testing I found that the reason for the crash on my PC was indeed the YaRSS2 plugin. After disabling the plugin, Deluge was running without a crash for two days straight. However I've managed to get it running when using the Deluge daemon instead. I guess this means that if you are experiencing crash and problems with Deluge, try first to disable third party plugins.

Sorry to necro, but I've also been getting the exact same error signature for Deluge 1.3.6. No plugins enabled and no Bitdefender, so not related to those. Crashes started occurring while seeding an initial torrent; Deluge ran fine for months prior to this, and now is crashing every 10 minutes or so. My internet connection has been unstable due to poor weather today...possibly related to something failing poorly if it loses connection?

You can try the Deluge package that use python 2.7 and libtorrent 0.16: http://download.deluge-torrent.org/windows/py2.7/

Had the same problem as kg333 just that it was crashing way more frequently, no plugins enabled, no bitdefender. Crashed regardless if i ran deluge or deluged. http://download.deluge-torrent.org/windows/py2.7/ fixed all my issues, thank you Cas.
